Interesting thread! Am I a cyclist? Yes - mountain bike / off road, 99.9% of the time - sometimes, you just can't get to where you want to go without being on a road, but by choice, I'd never be on one. Am I a ****? Yes - however, I don't think this has anything to do with the way I ride my bike. Lycra? No Where I live (North Yorks Moors), you've got to be a bit different if you don't want to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors, be it biking, running or walking. Summary: Are all cyclists ****s? Probably... however, some may not be a ****, specifically due to the way they use their bike / conduct themselves in relation to other road/bridleway users - those (me) are just generally ****s.
I like getting out on a bike but I'd avoid public roads as much as possible...I know what my fellow car drivers are like!
