Further restructuring

Three members of back room staff have been released from their contracts, as the club continues to restructure following relegation to the Conference.

Fitness consultant Mark Hammond, analyst Jonathan Robinson and scout Stuart Gray have all left the club.

Everyone at Bristol Rovers would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them luck in the future.

 
We have never had a decent scouting network. Southampton have always been very active in Bristol much to the shame of both clubs. But at least we've got the academy for now...

Clarke said on the Twentyman show on Friday that he hasnt been happy with the players fitness all season and he will be working very hard on that in pre season. So getting rid of Hammond was an obvious decision as Clarke go that covered. He also said he wasnt happy with the scouting network at the club and will be looking to change that. So getting rid of Gray was another obvious decision (I just didnt know who the scout was <laugh>). What has having an Analyst actually done for us?? I didnt know we had one but even I would get rid of this as its not needed.

I am just wondering which board members will be walking the plank??

I wouldn't mind having a loan arrangement with Southampton - let's face it, we sold them Rickie for what is now clearly bargain of the century. They're only 90 minutes away....

Bradshaw - what has he actually done? The Fans Reps - BSS and the other one. What's the point of them? Won't be Higgs - he's got a 52% shareholding. Maybe Watola?
 
Watola is apparently a ****, but I don't really know much about behind the scenes. The whole lot need to go, with the exception of Higgs IMO. Higgs has at least delivered something of major significance. Boycie, what the **** does he do??? Dunford as far as I know is ill, and wants out from what I have heard so maybe he will be one to go.... Boycie, Watola and Dunford out!

One thing I will say, that alternative forum does have a few 'in the know' there. I think that site has more knowledge of the background of this club than the rest of the forums put together. it's just a shame they are all so suicidal <laugh>

Yeah but its all these that get stuff shut best not to say anything or at least say allegedly :wink: they should start up a forum dedicated to lying and their idle David Pipe :wink:

Watola is Finance Director....does that make him a director? Someone said he's already like a CEO.
He has the ear of Higgs...power behind the throne?
Ken Masters has his own little empire 'heading up' the Community Department.
I could see him making a run for CEO if his position as Fans Director becomes untenable.
