I love curry. Where I live there are six Indian restaurants and takeaways all within five minutes of each other. How they all make money I don't know.
Further to my thread a while ago about my visit to Edinburgh during the fringe...any recommendation for a good city centre curry house?
You're an evasive ****er! If it is Stockport, then you have my sympathies with all those noisy City scallies on your doorstep.
Khukuri at West Maitland Street, five mins from Haymarket Station. It's a Nepalese restaurant and the dishes are very similar to Indian cuisine but with a slight twist. From there the Omar Khayyam is adjacent and at the bottom of Dalry Road is the Verandah which is where a lot of the stars go during the festivals. Mother India at Infirmary Street isn't too far from the City Centre. There are tonnes of them on Nicholson Street, of varying quality. But you can't go wrong with the Khukuri and the Verandah
