For next season Bentaleb and Eric Dier will switch to being overseas registered players. Bentaleb cause he joined 3 months too late and Dier, despite being an England International, was developed in Portugal. You say we can add 4 overseas players but realistically as we want to hold onto both Dier and Bentaleb , unless we sell overseas players (Fazio), and Yedlin will also be an overseas player ,if and when..., we don't want to be buying 4 overseas players.

Yes, you are right. I was linking the 4 spaces and the bit about Dier and Bentaleb in my mind, but I didn't actually say so <ok>

That could be balanced out in a variety of ways
i.) The speculation of cash + Townsend for Berahino rings true
ii.) McGee and Ball will both qualify as HG players next season
iii.) AN Other HG player is signed - I hear Fabregas isn't happy at Chavton...

On the subject of speculation, Wimmer's been linked with a loan move to Marseilles...which is not going to happen given OM maxed out their number of loans (which scuppered the proposed Lamela loan, which worked out quite nicely for us) so the only way that will happen is if one of those loans is terminated - and, given how Isla, Manquillo, Cabella and Lucas Silva are all regular starters, the odds are that won't be happening.
 
Townsend, Fazio plus cash for Berahino makes sense.

That way West Brom can be seen as getting a huge amount for him and Levy will feel he's won too.
 
I keep seeing Fazio and Wimmer are going (Wimmer on loan). So they are expecting us to survive with 2 frontline Centre Halves plus our CDM can fill in.
 
Wimmer might want to go out on loan to get some game time, as Austria qualified for the Euros this summer.
I'd assume that we're not going to be bringing in a hoard of centre-halves in January though, so it looks unlikely.

With Fazio on the way out and Veljkovic probably joining him sooner or later, I can't see it happening.
We need at least one more as it is. Can't see more than that.
