Spot on, great little boozer!
I used to live in Warkworth Street so really handy for plenty of local back street pubs. There are 6 or 7 within a 3 or 4 minute walk... The Cricketers, The Elm Tree, Free Press, The Clarendon Arms, The Hopbine, Man on the Moon, The Falcon (now called something else), The Tram Depot... I never needed a car in those days... Cambridge is a brilliant place for a pub crawl with some great pubs with real character to them. The King Street run was a great night out as well.
Is it still the same now JWM? So many decent "character" pubs have either gone to the wall, or become theme pubs or wine bars, it's difficult to find a decent pub these days!
Spot on, great little boozer!
