He wouldn't appreciate working with a chairman who came into the dressing room to slag off the players, which is what happened at Wolves 2 weeks ago.
I think this pretty much confirms that either he's not too fussed whether he comes back to management or not or, to echo FHB's point, he didn't much fancy working with this chairman. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17098513
Would anybody like to speculate as to what's going on here? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17112269 I thought this was done and dusted and FHB's suggestion was pretty much spot on - having worked with one chairman he couldn't trust, Curbs was disinclined to work with another - so why did Wolves come back for a second crack at him? Doesn't make sense.
Steve Morgan is finding out the hard way that it's easier to get rid of a manager than to replace him. Just like Mr. Murray.
I've been offered the job at Wolves. I will accept on the proviso that I can have Saturdays and Tuesdays off for the Charlton matches. Press conference to take place at 10am tomorrow.
Heard a joke the other day.... I applied for the England job. I knew I wouldn't get it but I applied anyway for a laugh. A mate of mine found it funny and applied for the Wolves job...he has an interview on Monday.
