If you're failing that basic then just give up or carry on relying on miracles

The question is whether a team can do it without countless questionable refereeing decisions in their favour...

Agreed, sign a couple of referees might help no end. The mousers have been far more successful since Michael o'Liver_pool has been officiating their important matches. Furthermore, in the interest of equality a couple of blind linesmen/women wouldn't go amiss.:)
