I'm glad I am not eligible because I don't really want to face the journey....doesn't stop me being wistful though.
Yeah I'm not sure if there's much chance of me getting cat 3. Which will be a shame as I think behind the goal will be the singing/standing. Beggars can't be choosers though and a ticket will do!
I don't think it will. I think the extra memberships sold will see to that. 8... definitely 7... most likely 6... when I think they'll go. Will be a rush that morning!
That will probably be accounted by all the season ticket holders and eligible members that choose not to go. There will certainly be some due finance/other plans/work etc. Plus when they crunched the numbers they knew people would be purchasing memberships so probably forecasted them in anyway. I hope anyway!!
I'm assuming that the Europa bundle counts as three games, as it was only one transaction. If it doesn't...................
Should be three separate ones, you can log in to the ticketing website and check your purchase history though to be sure!
If I can't get a ticket I'm thinking of accompanying my old man up to Wembley, then going and watching the game in a pub and meeting him afterwards. Not quite the real thing, but close
Curious what you are basing this on? The missus and I are in the 5 category, really hope it reaches next Saturday morning!
Because I bought it as the "Europa Bundle" it only shows as one transaction, although it was three matches. I have 6 transactions but they cover 8 matches attended. People who bought the tickets separately would have three separate transactions showing on their history.
The fact that they allowed new memberships to be purchased. There's plenty of fans who thought that buying a membership back in August wasn't worth it (in hindsight proved correct). And I think the club would have worked out the numbers with the current membership figures. Don't think there will be a big take up of members next season. I might be completely wrong, hope for your sake I am We'll know more Monday night imo when we can see roughly how many STH's have bought.
Why would the club have not expected people to buy memberships now..? For me membership has been worth it and I bought it in the summer.
I bought my membership to feel part of the club and to have early dibs on tickets...but have subsequently bought only a few tickets (mainly due to wanting to attend games at 3.00 on Saturday )....so my £25 is effectively a gift to Saints. Will I buy it again next season...yes, I will.
Because it defeats the point of buying one in the Summer. This will be the first game (out of 9) I've actually needed it. I could have easily not bothered until now and I might have made another game? I think there should have been a cut of point where they at least cost more for example. I probably will still buy one in the Summer but it does seem like it wasn't needed.
I'm just annoyed as this is the first season since I could drive that I've been to so few home games. Typical we get to Wembley when my new job means I've only been to 6 home and a few away. Normally I would easily qualify
