I don't live in the North East any more, and only get to a handful of the away games around the Midlands when we play here. I've been to cup games previous seasons, but not this season.

I'm hoping that there is a phase of the ticket sales, after the season card holders, where they give preference to people who've bought away tickets from the club this season, before they start selling them to people who've never been to a match before.

Does anyone know how many season card holders the club has?

I hope so Neil cos I'm in the same boat with no ST but been to loads of away games in last few years. I don't think that's gonna happen though, I think it'd just be a free for all. I'm gonna have to dust off my tent!

I think anywhere from 3000 to 10,000 on gen sale, depending on how many st holders donate their tickets

as part of the entering the competition all clubs receive an allocation of complimentary final tickets. Doubt if anybody will be taking their full quota up as there is not to glam teams involved. If you have contacts with any other supporters they could probably be a good source.

Might be worth trying contacting NUFC for starters.

I need 2 tickets for me and a son.
I'll pay £400 for 2 tickets or the means to buy them.
Sorry if this doesn't come across well but I've been going for 40 years and don't want to miss out.

Would love one as well, was a season ticket holder for years but just haven't been enough over the last 4 years to justify getting one..

So despite being a season ticket holder for 17 years spending roughly £400-£500 per year on my ticket the fact I haven't been to any cup games this season means I should be lower down the pecking order for cup final tickets than those who've only been to a handful of £10-per-ticket cup games?
    Bloody ridiculous.
I'm all for the club having a third phase of sales for people who've bought tickets on an individual game by game basis, cup or league, home or away, but only after I've got my seat.

Agreed. It's people like you who should get first dabs.

That's what were saying mate a third phase for people who went to the cup games, Season ticket holder should of course be given the option first, but we don't have 33000 season ticket holders so there will be other tickets available.

I had a season ticket for years, spent a fortune as its a 400 mile round trip drive from my house to the SOL. Could not move back to the north east due to work commitments. I have lots of loyalty points because I go to lots of away games as well as home games but it looks like non of that will be taken into account. I bet their are lots of other people in the same boat as me.

There's always going to people that missnout. We all know the farce from the Olympics. Do you reckon they'll put up a screen at the sol? The ought to.

If there's going to be a third phase it certainly shouldn't be for the cups. I've paid north of 40 quid plus at least the same again in transport to go away to the likes of Villa and west ham in the league this season. I can't really get up midweek so the cup games haven't been possible. If there's a 3rd phase it should be loyalty points from non-SC holders IMO

sorry, my misreading. personally think it's bullshit the club don't take non-season ticket holders into account, moreeso we don't get 50% capacity of Wembley. we'd sell it without having to do a 4-for-1 Charlton.
can we get a petition going to the club for those like yourself? have reat admiration for travelling fans, always a strong and proud showing.
yes, i go to the home games but can't make away days at all due to work. Wish I could but sometimes I only get to see second halves (eg. Southampton - sometimes it's blessing rather than a curse, eh?) atmosphere at away days always sounds better than home games imo guess comes with sitting in east stand where it's frowned upon to shout let alone sing. credit to the 9k at old trafford last night, you were all i could hear on radio. can't wait to be part of it (finally) at Wembley.
Best of luck to those who deserve their final ticket. i'll sing a song for those unfortunate to miss out.

I love going to away games, I have even been in the home end a few times when I could not get a ticket in the Sunderland end, lets just say it was "interesting". Had to sit on my hands a lot.

Fingers crossed I can get a ticket, I expect if your prepared to spend the money they will pop up on ebay and on ticket re-sale sites.

the football league offer tickets to all league clubs but when they arent sold they are then offered back to the finalists (hence the grey area's of the wembley maps)

    i think

Interesting.... So 3000+ up for general sale, gives all us non-ST holders a fighting chance of getting a ticket. Best of luck to all of us.
