Cunningtons loan ends after the Chester game on 22nd November.
Rovers will NOT extend the loan deal.
Its not a case of not willing to extend the deal but instead a case of not allowed to do so.
Here are tweets from James Mcnamara about this who spoke to DC today.....
1) "Cunnington loan will not be extended after Rovers play Chester on November 22 (it can't be DC says). "We'll miss the big man," he added."
2) "Re: Cunnington. . loan can't be extended beyond 93 days during current transfer window. Could be revisted again once January window opens"
Martins loan is until Jan so no worries about him.
I believe Cunningtons loan deal was only short term due to expecting Whites fitness to have been sorted by now, Brunt was in DC's plans too at the time and DC missed out on other striker targets who was expected to sign by now.
Not sure what happens now with our striking options. White or Harrison to partner Taylor? Or Brunt was only going for a month. He has played all games for York so far and getting full 90 mins. Maybe will be back replacing Cunnington.
