Yeah but most white people with dreads these days are white boys with Trust funds who spend their days sitting under a tree on a college campus with a guitar in their hands.

I thought people were pissed off because Jamie Oliver added some crap to rice and called it jerk when jerk seasoning is something else altogether.

As for white people with dreads - this was the first one I ever saw:

I find Oliver’s TV manner irritating. Everything is ‘amazing’, ‘the best ever’ and all that bollocks.

However, he does come up with some good ideas and recipes. And, as Sky says, he’s done more to try and change attitudes about food, especially with kids, than any other so called celebrity chef has bothered to do.

    Total knobhead jamie oliver.

Initially a force for good, now he's just a nob trying to ban everything and trying to stay in the limelight

He didn't choose this publicity though.

He's only in the press because of the recipe he added to his menu, because he had the nerve to add from a culture other than his own.

The thread was about that not Jamie Oliver <laugh> I shouldn't have used him as an example. The twat's taken over the thread <laugh>

I think the key point here is that no sane person gives a ****; not about Jamie Oliver, and not about Dawn French or whatever she's called.

So it's all bollocks designed to get a couple of names into the public eye <ok>

I like Jamie Oliver, he's ok but just became overexposed and that will always turn people against you. Just started watching his new show.

That's what he does. It's probably why that daft bird got the hump.

That's the way of all threads on here, start with one thing and it'll go off on a tangent at some point.

White persons "blacking up" will ALWAYS be incredibly offensive though.

    Oh and Jim Davidson.

    That's not cultural appropriation though.

That's humour from another age, medieval I think.

The funny thing about cultural appropriation is, it's always mostly white middle class privileged types who never worked a hard day in their lives, who complain about it.

They do it because their marxist professors trained them to do it.

Unis and colleges are creating activists, because professors are imbuing students with their own politics and most professors are very left leaning. They never had jobs most of them, and have been in a system where they've never had to compete for most of their lives so marxism is appealing, because they dont live in the real world, which is the only place where marxism works <laugh>

You don't think teaching is real work? Bollocks - it is ridiculously difficult and I wouldn't want to work 80+ hours for bugger all and face all the **** that those poor buggers have to face.

Also what do you think marxism is? Maybe in USA they are into that crap but here in the UK I think you mean socialism.

Most professors dont work anything even remotely like 80 hours a week and delegate a lot of their work to postgrads. My god! lol

Teachers work hard, professor and teacher are two different things
