Steve Brady said both sides were talking when he withdrew the threat of legal action. Brady said the Council would apply for planning permission as a result of the 3g pitch being laid. Maybe the lack of backbone by the Council extends to not putting in a planning application as well.
When did he say any of that? Last I heard was the statement that they're holding off legal action until after the audit?
Brady said the thing about planning permission the day after the 3g pitch was laid. An application for planning permission isn't legal action. The first bit was a council officer after they decided not to take legal action, not Brady. Apologies to the officer for confusing him with Cllr Brady.
What they actually said, was a decision on legal action had been 'put on hold', pending the outcome of the audit.
