Hate to break it to you but Babs is most definitely not a glory supporter, not sure when her first match was, but she took me to a fair few games when I was a teenager

You can call me all the names under the sun for all I care. I was probably watching Hull CITY AFC before you and a lot of the CTWD group were born. I repeat, I hate the badge, I hate what is happening to OUR Club, but we need to to realistic; sadly it's not just about the football anymore, it's about money, power and the egos of the owner(s).

Sometimes you have to lose a battle to win the war. Perhaps we all need to think about that before we go spouting nonsense.

You may or not have been going longer than i have, how would i know ? 40 years for me,in case you were curious. And 70 years for my dad. Maybe that's what makes me feel the importance of our heritage.

    Clearly <ok>

We've now got three to four times the debt we had when they stepped in. We've just had our best ever season, yet merchandising and pass sales are down and we're struggling to attract sponsors. As a club, we have little credibility in the football world as we're perceived as being run by a looney. We've just added a chairman that can't keep his word to the list.

How on earth is that a sustainable business position?

Most of the issues could be resolved by investing in decent PR and a decent marketing team, but in a world where perception and image is at the forefront, we're conference level.

How would losing this battle help us win the war?

The badge change itself is not the issue, more the lack of transparency and deceit from our owners. Their underhand nature of going about things is a disgrace and an insult to the supporters they promised to consult. Their actions become more and more indefensible.

It's a drip-drip-drip of stealthy and underhand identity change.

The owners are changing week-by-week all references to Hull City to Hull City Tigers or nothing at all.

Then in time they will drop the 'City' also.

They are deceiving the unwary and dumb among our support.

How can you have faith in people who are actively and deliberately deceiving you on a daily basis?

There's people only seeing the fact that he saved the Club and seeing that as the be all and end all. They seem blind to the fact that he's slowly stripping this great Club of it's History and name even though it's been shown point by point.

If i'm having an arguement with someone and they put a good point across then i'll think, yea you're right. I won't carry on arguing the point for the sake of it.

Yes, for the millionth time, he saved the Club, but that doesn't give him a mandate to destroy the History and heritage of the Club.

Mr Allam, please stick to what you're good at, selling generators because you certainly can't run a football Club. Go, please!!

With AA wanting the name change, the constant lies that he tells the supporters and now the club badge change I'm starting to feel as though it's not out club anymore! But just a rich mans play thing.

As a supporter you expect things to change like the owners, players, managers and other staff.
Then there are things that may change like the ground you play in, and the Club badge but things like this are some of the things that make a Club and you would expect the owners to consult the fans over things like this!

Then there is one thing that should never change and that's the name of the club.

You say in a post you have been a supporter for over 40 years but if AA gets his way then what will be left of that club you started supporting all them years ago? The team colours? Now does it still feel like it's the same club you started supporting all them years ago?

Maybe it's because I live in Canada now and only been to one game in the last few years but with every change, every lie it's feeling less and less like the club I first started supporting 20 years ago!

If I recall, on an older thread you said Spain were comfortably the best European side at the WC...

I just found it funny, that's all.

I stand by what I said.

Spain have, on paper, the best 11.

They just went into the World Cup without being ready for it. They looked disinterested, unfit and clueless. Alonso even said that they hadn't prepared anything like they had for the three past tournaments and were very arrogant in training. They thought they could walk it again. Holland came and showed that you need to work hard to win football matches.

Only the German side would rival it, but i'd still rather have Spain's back 4.
