I cannot just get off the bus. Its not as simple as that. I will always buy my season ticket but I have the sense to know that a lot of people just cannot justify the sort of money the club are asking for now, plus all the other 'take it or leave it' goings on at the club.
The club are in very real danger of distancing themselves from their support, more and more with each press release. That's not 'bitching' that's showing genuine concern for the clubs future.

Increas size of stadium to 36,000

Charge £10 per game to under 21s

Give tickets away for free to school kids even

We NEED to get the young people into watching City or when us old gits are no more we won't have any fans

I suspect the club can get away with pissing people off immediately after our best ever season, the problem obviously comes when we get relegated(and at some point we will) and all the Premier League only fans **** off(as they always do).

It's at that point that our owners will think, ****, maybe we should have spoken to people about E1-3 before moving them. Maybe we should have staggered those season ticket price rises, maybe we shouldn't have called them hooligans, maybe we shouldn't have told them that the TV money makes them insignificant.

There are people who've been season ticket holders for twenty or thirty years, who are not renewing for next season, despite last season being our best ever season. It's not easy to piss people off that much.

I seem to remember these real fans in E1 were not there in the championship. The front 10 rows of it was empty for most of the season.

"Martin Wyvill • 10 hours ago

    Get a life guys!
I live in High Wycombe, Bucks and travel to every home game and many away games. I go to these games to watch a professional football team that plays in Hull. I would rather they be called Hull City Tigers or Hull Tigers and be playing Manchester United on Boxing Day than be called Hull City and be watching Doncaster Rovers on said day.

The Allam's need every penny they can get so that we can compete in Europe and stay in the Premier League next season.

We should be rejoicing in the fact that the Allam's took a team that was almost extinct and brought it back to have our best season ever.

Get behind the hand that feeds us and stop trying to cut its throat. Be careful what you wish for. It has a habit of getting up and biting you on the bum!"

People like this would have surrendered to the krauts in WWII- their only concern is their immediate well-being.

Why is the choice Allam Tigers in the Prem or Hull City in League 2?

Why can't it be Hull City in the Prem?

It was Hull City in the FACFinal 3 weeks ago tomorrow.

It disgusts me how many turncoats and glory hunters we have.

They are looked upon with contempt by fans of all clubs.

There's probably fickle fans in every area of the ground, that's how it is nowadays(not just for us, but for all clubs), it's a crying shame that more isn't being done to address it.

I use to go E3 chazz then the juniors asked if they could go to every game.

Hence e1 last season and 3 seats together .

This coming season will be the second season ticket for juniors but the 4th season of going to games for them.

A relative use to take them to rugby now and then
    Prior to that ..

    Now the don't like rugby

    :)

Before cup final i told them I could get them £800 each for there cup final tickets ( in jest ) and they both went NOOOOOOOO.

I felt as proud as punch...

If someone bought us now and increased the capacity to 50.000 do you think he'd half the season passes to £250 and get the same revenue in after spending 20 million to increase the capacity??
Of course not. They've set it at a level with other clubs, they may have gone too high, maybe. It might be frozen for the next few years. But people wanting a say in every decision they make is ridiculous.

Who has suggested that, or even anything close?

It's more a case of pointing out the failing in not making the effort to understand the customer base.

    No.

As far as I am aware the OSC would have to have a members vote to change its name and then as it is a limited company, it would have to change via companies house.

Whilst it is easy to find fault with the OSC, you do need to look at the fact that it is a social group and nothing more.

Why not ask the same of HCSS or the aptly named Tigers co-op?

I didn't ask about the others because the OSC was mentioned. The fact they may or may not need a vote is academic. The point remains that they are afraid of rocking the boat, so a name change to fit in is a real option for them.

You're right about one thing though, it is easy to find fault with the the OSC of HCAFC. <ok>

I don't think our prices are daft, apparently we're now 12th in the Premier League for season ticket prices, but there's barely any difference between 12th and 18th, so it's not the end of the world(though I understand that for those who were just managing it, particukarly families, it is the end of the world).

It's the cack handed way it's handled that really pisses people off. Everything is released late, people find out last minute that they have to move stands, they have to immediately come up with the initial payment, nothing is clearly explained, We're just **** at doing the basics.

Nobody wants a say in every decision, that would be ridiculous, but having a say in what the club is called, or what the badge looks like is surely fair enough?

I think you have it right. Everyone has their perspective; hard earned cash is being taken in an abusive way. When the club and the support had nowt, the support stumped up what they could and then some more. Now we have a club that disrespects community , affiliation and loyalty. It's dark days. Will my coin make this worse? My wife has asked me to reconsider walking away; it wasn't the folk Sue met, it was their genuine love for something contentious (football is to some), but who knows.

Like everything you post lately this is a circular argument. The OSC is linked with the club no matter what the cliub is called. What part of Official Supporters Club don't you understand?

More and more versions of the season pass renewal ad in town, St Stephens, Anlaby High Rd, Chants Ave.

    No mention which club though.

Do they think people are daft?

Nope. They're only circular to people trying to spin them. <ok>

From what you've put, if they're only the "Official Supporters Club" the answer is yes, they'll change the name they're known as to Hull Tigers Official Supporters Club. Or have you misunderstood the "Official" bit?
