What evidence? Anyway, I asked whether anyone on here thinks that changing the name will have financial benefits. I wasn't asking for reasons. Mr. Allam has already said that he has not yet done market research so is clearly only going on his business instinct.
Mr Allam glad handed a load of desperate City fans, told em what they wanted. Do you really think he told them anything??
If he had any evidence of financial benefit he could just tell us what it is and put this whole sorry business to bed. I'm still waiting for someone to say that yes, they have a gut instinct that a name change would be financially beneficial. At present Mr. Allam is the only one.
The only one that counts. The self important group who met him want to be seen as important. Fez is about the only one who has it right. You cant work together. You either go along or oust him and take the consequences.
Personally I would be happy to oust him and take the consequences. I'm not bothered which league I watch Hull City play in, but I only asked if anyone else thinks the name change will benefit the club financially. Perhaps no one wants to put their head over the parapet, but it's a straightforward question, I'm not asking for reasons.
Exactly we have a chairman with ambition and most of the old guard cant handle it and want what theyve always had. Smug superiority for supporting ****e. No one knows but most want to back the best chairman we've ever had.
The only ones that count are the FA and the Premier League. If you want to remain in the Premier League you have to abide by the rules. The rules currently say we are Hull City AFC. Come April we'll see what we'll be called next season.
Come April you pay your money and you take your chance. The committee meets and the committee votes. No need to ask any fans of other clubs, it all comes down to how the vote goes. As I said they are the only ones that count.
"If you dont let me change the name I'll pull out and you will have a bankrupt club in the Premier League" Not good for the oh so special best league in the world. Terrible for the "Brand" . Well we dont like it Mr Allam but what the **** ye do it. Its all part of the hype both for and against for Jeff and the boys to talk about
Two answers. Business name : yes, team name : no The problem isn't the team name, the big problem is finding a solution to the inevitable lack of funds. Today we played a club that has been to the same places that we have, struggling financially, bailed out by a family and only now showing that they have the ability to compete in the upper tier of football. We need Assen Allam and he needs us.
Assem Allam wants European football for Hull. Hull City owes him and his family £66 million, do you really think he's going to pull out and say goodbye to the chance to go down in history and lose all his savings? You must have a very low opinion of him if you seriously think he'll do that to his family. The only chance they have of getting their money back is to remain a premier league team for a number of years.
Did i say he'd walk away on a whim?? An accountant coming away with **** all?? Really?? If you dont think Mr Allam could **** this club over and get his money back you are naive. Theres only one way, his way, and I'm all for it.
Are you a ****ing idiot. Yes definitely I've had a team looking at it for months they've complied a full dossier the results are startling. I cant share it unfortunately. knob
The only assets Hull City have are the players. To repay the loans from the premier league monies he needs to make big profits like Blackpool did. Instead of doing that he's spent it on players and is facing an £11 million shortfall at the end of this season. Assem Allam wants European football at the KC and has started putting a team together to achieve it. He's not going to close down the club because he cannot change the name. He's not going to get millions from China either by just changing the name. He needs a successful football club first before he'll get the financial benefits from the far east.
A simple yes or no was all I asked. No name calling, no juvenile insults, just a yes or no. I didn't realise it was that complicated a question. My apologies if it confused you.
