I would agree. Apply this to politics and it would mean around 15 million British people would need to be members of the same political party.
I think there's a big difference in the sense there's **** loads of political parties, where as out situation is you either like it or you don't...
Thats fine Heisenberg, but please put what you think the numbers will be/are? The marches were not supported, because of lack of knowledge/apathy whatever. After the protest and media coverage all are well aware of the campaign now surely? So whats your number.
Enough to get the FA to reject the application. I have no idea how many that would be. It could be as low as 201 or has high as 12,000. As I have repeatedly said the only vote that will matter will be in the FA Council. Seriously I hope before then he offers an olive branch to those supporters who oppose the name change and sits down to discuss it and what research he plans to do. Hopefully he's found some the money for January (as he told Peter Levy he didn't have any more in August) and then we can all sit down and enjoy the rest of the season. I suspect he's dug his trench, put his tin hat on and won't be satisfied until he's got his own way. Its a shame as we all want success for the club and should all be pulling together.
I'd hope that they'd be at least 1000 by the end of the week. I also think we'd be lucky to have numbers between the 3000 and 4000 mark throughout the entire season. But then again I've never assumed all the supporters are anti-name change. I just know I am. I have no idea what percentage of our base is anti-name change, but i do think we'd get less than half of that in the group, maybe only a 1/3 or 1/4. As group membership seems to be low generally. Therefore, if by the end of the season we had about 2000 members, I reckon that'd mean at least 4000, possibly 6000 agreed with us etc. But who knows?
My guess is that it'll end up around this figure. Roughly the same amount of people who kept City afloat in their darkest days.
Never joke about my heritage! My great great grandad......etc. But could they do those giant hand things in a lobster design?Onesy-it is all coming together in my head. Maybe you can suggest it to AA in the roller before the match
What by Christmas or now? If its now, I'll have less work to do than I expected. I somehow think it will be slightly higher than that. I've always found there's always more to do than expected, even when I think it's not going to take very long. Guess I'm just lucky.
Ahh so you were expecting?? How many? Cos i thought you werent even thinking about it. Now it seems you have been.
So far, the membership launch has only been visible to those who post on message boards, or follow the campaign on social media. Tomorrow, 10,000 leaflets will be given out to promote the membership and the launch event ahead of the Stoke game, where people will be able to meet us and discuss things with us. I expect that the numbers will run to thousands, it certainly won't run to tens of thousands, the Official Supporters Club has been going for years yet has only 1800 members. The aim here, is to show how many people are so pissed off with this idea, that they're prepared to pay to join a group opposing it. What AA thinks of the numbers is largely irrelevant, he's not going to change his mind, it's the FA/PL that we're working to convince now.
I knew you were going to say that! Seriously, online form, membership database, person applies online, personal info stored in a specific and secure place, sent welcoming email. It should take roughly 1 min from logging on to see how many have signed up. If your data is so badly stored and organised that you can't, you need to be REALLY worried about a visit from the Information Commissioner's Office.
No need for it is there. It was in the HDM paper. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...ng-term-plan/story-20221835-detail/story.html 600 in 72 hours, is that true or are you and Obi out of the loop?
