Nah we'll win and then I'll have to drop the scarf on the tube tracks at the FA Cup final like I did with my old one in May.

My wife told me that she was getting a little hoarse this morning. I looked out of the window and there was a pony tethered to the garage door

Too many soft Southerners on this forum. Need some gritty Northerners to toughen up the chat. If I see any, I’ll tell them you were asking after them.

Against most sides I would agree. But Palace play a similar 5-2-3 type formation - and one of their two CMs is Will Hughes, who is the oldest 29 year old on earth.

A pro is the manager noticing Sugawara’s poor performance and dropping him. A con is him not noticing Armstrong doing absolutely nothing and still playing him.

Another con is Sulemana still on the bench. Waste of a spot and a real risk he comes on ahead of archer again

haven’t been following the build up - what has happened to Downes ?

Basing that comment purely on our midfield! Didn’t even look at who Palace were putting out. Ours scarily slow and lacking in defensive ability. But that’s a relief to hear. Downes out with a dead leg against West Ham apparently. And presumably Ugochukwu just hasn’t got the fitness to start again given his lack of games this season.

Presumably Armstrong is there because he runs a lot and that helps in closing down?

What are they doing with the u23 team? They should be training daily and playing reserve matches every week. They should be match fit mid-season and ready to go.

TP and ugochukwu should be ready to slot in, what’s the point of having a squad otherwise?

Should be prioritising a bench space and minutes for SAA over Sulemana...would probably end up with more threat and end product.

    Downes is injured apparently.

Don’t worry all. I’m off to mother in laws in the New Forest today and we always seem to randomly win around Christmas time when I go there and I can’t follow the game properly

    ****ing AA.

Seriously wtf does any manager see in him at this level other than he runs around. May as well get Moi back if that is what we want.

Having said that, other than Archer who would play there right now?
