We’re in this **** hole because of SR, RM & a crap squad. We all (most) accepted the last bit was a given but RM dug it deep & ST made it deeper not acting sooner. We’ve had a reset & now at least we are playing at our level. WHU & today was really disappointing points wise but there’s a totally different ethos & feel to the previous RM dross. I’m sure Juric will improve us but in all likelihood we’re going down unless he can work a miracle & some. We have so many players that offer virtually zero at this level. AA is just lost (I still can’t believe some peps thought he’d kick on this season just because of a reasonable CHampionship). Bree & Manning are trying but also offer very little unfortunately. Don’t understand £20m Sula. I’ve definitely enjoyed the last few games post RM but it’s still hurts.

And no one has said they are. You said he was **** which is just all a bit silly.

Anyhow, not here to argue Archers.

We’re crap and we’re going down. All there is to it really.

Oh absolutely. We’re nowhere near good enough at this level with this squad. We just aren’t as bad as Martin made us look.

My one hope for the transfer window, last summer, was that we brought in players, especially midfielders, who were big, strong, athletic and with a bit of pace. Our midfield and our forward line is made up with too many lightweights who get brushed off the ball too easily. We need to address this to become more competitive.

Agree. Downes and Aribo hardly stike fear into forwards.

    Expectations....Expectations Lads!
Anyone that thinks we weren't already relegated is more deluded than that prat of a manager RM!
Juric has been in the job two minutes and people on here think he's going to turn a bunch of very average players into Liverpool? Today under RM we would have lost 3 - 4 nil and not had a shot on goal, at least we can see some improvements under Juric ( think he must utterly mental to take on the job in the first place! ) but it's going to take time. I really think that we're now a project for the championship, let's see if Mister Headbanger can build some cohesion in the side perhaps even some better attacking options with some loans/buys in the January window and guarantee an instant return to the prem?
Whatever is going to happen it can't be as bad as if we still had that hopeless fraud in charge - I'm still optimistic about our future as opposed to utter despair when dog poo pants was still in charge

Todays **** decision special against us is even more infuriating given the goal of ours that was disallowed against Brighton for impeding the Brighton GK...

I know we're not good enough anyway. But the officiating including VAR in the PL is an absolute piss take.

Ivan said he thought Sulemana played well for twenty minutes. Suspect he means “over the course of his career”.

Yeah, we’ve been on the end of some really **** officiating this season. Pretty sure that’s not supporter bias, we really have been mugged repeatedly.

Yeah the “they even out” defence is bollocks for Saints & the opposite for the favourites,

Just got in. Not read anything yet but thinking about it on the way home and today sums up what I was saying on boxing day about this being such a daft time to bring in a high energy manager for an unfit squad.

Looked so far off the pace for much of today and don't see that improving much in January.

Is Brereton Diaz injured, does anyone know? Either that or Juric isn't interested

Still 57 points to play for this season plus the big 6 we already have in the bag.
So let's not down tools just yet.

Glen de la Cour made a very good point on SR, our recruitment and the upcoming transfer window on tonight's TSP. During our scatter gun summer transfer window, we brought in BBD, Fraser and Cornet...all for the same position on the left hand side of the pitch...and they're all so **** that none of them can even get any game time over ****ing Adam Armstrong or Kamaldeen Sulemana. The only reason the right side is not in that state is because of the emergence of a supreme talent from the academy (theres no way they planned for that so they got very, very ****ing lucky there). And up front we signed a striker that didn't suit Martins system (Archer), a system that only looked decent in the Championship with a striker that could hold the ball up and link up the play in Che Adams who we did not ****ing replace. SO now we are relying on ****ing Tall Paul who we signed for a manager that we sacked 5 minutes later, who didn't want to play for us in the Championship and we spent the entire summer transfer window trying to sell to Turkey for more than a fiver. And now here we are a few months later, and literally our entire attack and any slim hopes of scoring goals centres around him...
You really couldn't write it. Utterly embarrassing, shambolic mess. Just ****ing replace Wilcox SR and revamp the scouting and recruitment team ahead of the summer I beg. Learn from your many horrific and obvious mistakes. I'm sure running a club isn't easy, but my god do you make it look hard.

Two more noteworthy things to mention from today:

Beattie was there! Should have asked him if he brought his boots.

Surprisingly Sulemana wasn't the most ineffective sub today. That accolade has to go to Lallana.
