The match is more enjoyable than this topic.

It isn't hard to see why sometimes we struggle to score away from home: I am not sure this formation suits Austin away from home and we really struggle to support our striker and need the fullbacks for all of the width.

    Time to introduce Davis?

I don't know if he's ever been that good for us really. Maybe a couple of games.

Austin needs an extended physical rest, Redmond a mental one. Though I also feel the Redmond problem is a tactical one, as big of a fuss was made over his ability as a striker, as we've gradually eased into from our hybrid diamond into what's now a fairly orthodox 4-3-3 he's gradually declined.

And by the looks of things the team as a whole needs a bit of backbone stiffening or this winter is going to murder us.

Still, as low-scoring as we are - 1 goal and Palace will wobble.

Lulling Pardew into the comfort blanket of his ego, before we cruelly snatch it away with braces from Boufal and Sims, and a sublime overhead from Virgil.

Or Palace will win 4-0 as revenge for us sacking Pardew after winning by the same score.

Early goal and they will panic. I would like to see Sims at some point for sure.

Redmond still on the pitch? Great, so we're still playing with 10.

Spent first half on the phone with sky on with no sound. So no idea how we've played generally.

See we're all taking it well on here though....

That Forster howler was worse than I realised. Didn't notice at first that it bobbled because it hit his right foot. <doh>
