Just got in from Sunday lunch with the family, only saw the last 10 mins, Palace looked pretty strong but I heard that we'd dominated most of that half. From what I saw, it looks like we need to get Bellerin involved a bit more and try and stretch Palace on the flanks, maybe swap Ramsey for Oxo ?
Those moaning about Cech by the way, I don't think there was much he could do given the accuracy of the shot, it went perfectly bottom corner, inside of the side net. Koscielny should have stopped the shot getting through.
Ozil has looked dangerous today, he's been involved in most of our good play. An assist and could of been a couple more.
Just seen that Palace goal. There's no way Kos should be turning his back on that, he needs to be getting any part of his body that he can in the way of that. Poor defending.
We honestly could have been 3-0 up in the first 20 minutes if not for greediness and poor finishing. Palace looked all over the place and we struggled to take advantage of it. Coquelin was lucky not to get sent off, so I think it's worth taking him off for Arteta because Palace will target him. He will be a bystander in midfield. All in all, Palace are very fortunate that it's 1-1.
I think wenger will stick with coquelin for the first 10-15 and see if we score. If we do I think Arteta will come on for him and if not it'll be an offensive change instead.
The defence is pitiful. If we don't start shaping up at the back, I shudder to think how we'll cope with more potent opponents.
