    I must confess to not feeling anything like as excited as I usually would on the morning of the first game of the season.

    However it is better than no football, and hopefully at some point during this season things will return to something resembling normality. Come on Saints!

    I just love how much the palace fans hate Ward-Prowse.

    From the palace forum:

    "Watford got exactly what they deserved and hopefully Southampton will this season, Ward Prowse is a total cnut and the very very last player I'd like anywhere near my Palace and is also the very reason we haven't seen the best of Zaha ..he kills football and ruins entertainment one of the most vile players in this league by far."
