They had a thing on sky site about how it could go to play offs for title top 4 and relegation and how it would all be worked out... Was a couple weeks ago, did make me laugh given the fact was still about 12 games left and countless possibilities on how the points could end up

I have no issue with people thinking its a penalty mate, there was contact. I personally think the contact wasn't enough to warrant a penalty but that's the modern game mate. I just thought people claiming it as a "stonewall" penalty were being ridiculous Found it very amusing for some to point at media outlets saying it was a penalty as back-up to their argument though. Unlike yourself Jimmy, i am able to comment on a players actual performance rather than continuously judging them on the reputation I've built for them in my own head irrelevant of actual performance Flanno was rightly taken off, he wasn't having the best of games. He was the weakest of the back line and we needed to chase the game (Flanno is defensive afterall)
Needs to be retrospective punishment handed out. If the ref has been conned the player should get a 3 match ban. Only way to stamp out this there was contact so go down like a sack of ****. The game nowadays though has gone where the attacking player is already anticipating contact and already going down and hides behind it. Its a new form of cheating in my eyes but the rules state contact not the level of contact. Every fecking clubs players do this so those feckers coming on here on their high horse should take note all clubs have players who cheat and sadly it probably stems from being told to do it by their manager or club!!
To hell with that. It was a blatant penalty and Benteke is lucky to have survived with his life. A lesser player would have been decapitated or worse following a brutal challenge like that. Benteke is lucky he is ok. That challenge should be met with a lifelong ban and CP being relegated to a division from which they can never be our bogey team again.
Bit on sky about Delaney speaking one quote I found amusing... 'I can honestly say that I didn't make contact with Benteke.' I'd love to sit in a room with him show him the clip and say, so you're saying your knee didn't make contact with his standing foot despite replays clearly showing it did Footballers have 0 brains don't they.
I think this answers it nicely benteke has felt the contact and gone down. If he didn't go down the ball prob would have gone out of play as his run was interupted even only slightly by the contact. In short by definition a pen can be given for it. i've seen plenty not given. The guy was stupid even attempting the tackle.

Cos i voted yesterday after seeing replay on tv and had the impression benteke was already going down but its clear hes not unitl the contact is made. you can clearly see the leg not tagged should be the one making the step as the contact is made but collapsea s he's decided to go down easy. Its a stupid challenge. you want me to actually cahnge a vote nobody cares about. plus i was also voting n ocos you said it was 7-0 the other way and i just had to be awkward as per.
