If we go 442 we need the following Rossy Chester Dawson Robertson Elmo Huddlestone Livermore Diame/Meyler N'Doye Hernandez/ Aluko
Is bruce suspended, no one seems to have picked him. I know he gave the penalty away but he shows a bit of heart and desire which is what we'll need
No, but he isn't as good as Chester or Dawson and if we're going with a flat back four, he shouldn't be taking either of their places. Heart and desire is all well and good, but we need quality to drag us out the ****. The penalty he gave away was daft, not only because Long wasn't actually going anywhere but also because he knew it was a key game in which we really didn't want to be falling behind in. Which is a shame because right up until then he hadn't done much wrong. I really hope Bruce Snr doesn't give us some ******ed formation just to fit him in.
I like your team a lot , but I would put McGregor back in goal. As for Bruce's team, I could have 20 guesses and still wouldn't come up with the right permutation. I don't even bother to try and predict it these days
For what it's worth, my pick would be... Harper McShane Chester Dawson Rosenior Elmo Livermore Ramirez Brady Hernandez N'Doye Although I'd never turn my nose up at a Robertson/Brady combo on the left.
Diame is still having problems with his knee, it doesn't sound like he'll start tomorrow. Harper will retain his position in goal(unsurprisingly). Curtis is still injured. Robertson injured his ankle in training yesterday, so he's also out.
Pete O'Rourke @SportsPeteO Alan Pardew says Crystal Palace would sell coveted winger Yannick Bolasie for "£40million to £60million". I bet he ****ing would.
Andrew Robertson is out of the Tigers trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday. The left wing-back turned his ankle in training on Thursday and as well as missing the game against the Eagles, he is also a doubt to face Liverpool next Tuesday. Curtis Davies also remains sidelined with a thigh strain. Meanwhile, manager Steve Bruce is weighing up whether or not midfielder Mohamed Diame is fit enough to start. Diame recently returned from a long lay-off caused by a knee problem and is still under assessment by the club’s medical team. Speaking about the Diame situation, Bruce said: “It’s the biggest dilemma we face. On Monday he looked terrific in training and we’re all thinking the weekend off had done him good, but then on Tuesday morning his knee was sore again. “That is the problem we face with Mo. He has two or three days where he looks decent, but then his knee is still sore. He had to come out of training on Tuesday, didn’t train on Wednesday and then did a bit on Thursday. “We have to manage that situation and see how he is. We would all like him to be fit because we realise what he gave us, but he’s virtually been out for five months now and he’s still not a hundred per cent. “It’s one where we might have to take a risk, but in my experience with the Premier League if you’re not a hundred per cent fit then you’re not going to be at the level required.” Gaston Ramirez is fit to return to action after missing the defeat at Southampton but David Meyler (suspended), Nikica Jelavic and Robert Snodgrass (both knee) remain unavailable. Palace may be able to call upon Jordon Mutch and Chung-Yong Lee after injury, but remain without strikers Fraizer Campbell and Marouane Chamakh. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...palace-clash-2420606.aspx#z3COMi18S2cekFR6.99
What No FC then ? what a shame.......... NOT.!!!!!! As for City well IMO same team as started @ Southampton but i would bring in Diame for Aluko. Save Aluko as an impact sub just in case. With Liverpool so close it will be interesting to see what SB actually does mind.
