The away game we were all looking for when the fixture list came out has finally arrived. This Saturday we travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace and hopefully avenge the 1-0 defeat we suffered at the hands of them earlier in the season. It was very disappointing last weekend to concede two late goals to Sheffield Wednesday and thus lose the game from a leading position. Palace played on Wednesday night and lost 1-0 up at Huddersfield James Vaughan scored the goal.

If Wiggins is fit I'd play him otherwise I'd put Wagstaff or Kerkar there. Palace have been in a rough patch lately and Have only won one game in their last 9 league outings. The other results have been 5 draws and 3 defeats. In Glenn Murray they have a striker in great goal scoring form this season and our centre back will have to be on top form to deal with him. Palace also have good wingers in Zaha and Bolasie which is why in my team selection I went for Solly and Wiggins to be covered by Wilson and Evina this we make us more solid on the wings. Kermorgant will have to be at his battling best as any attack we will have will come from him winning flicks ons and holding up the play. I believe the most likely result on Saturday will be a draw however as we always seem to play better on the road Charlton could surprise me and come away with all 3 points! I will be going to this game anybody else going?

I like your team, Belv, although I'm not sure Taylor and Waggy will be dropped. Your team looks like possibly our strongest 11 if we stick with 4-5-1.

My Palace supporting mate (we're not all perfect) says it's a good idea to put money on us, they were dreadful midweek apparently, but then again they were in such bad form before last time :( But still, not a fan of Kevin Phillips (love him but hate him being against us), I'll go for us dragging out a 2-1, go 2-0 up and then they score and we defend until the end but keep it out :) COYR

Phillips is one player i've always wanted to see in a Charlton shirt.

1st season in the Premier League, he gets the European golden boot.

Class act

Looking at the previous results, I'll go for a 4-4 draw.

Gonna have to stay up til 3am sunday morning for this one.

COYA!

I woke up this morning and thought it was game day!! Very much excited and have a feeling we will get a point minimum. Don't know a lot of what's happening down there, but the few Nigel's I know have been moaning about IH. I think we will crank up the pressure.

0-1

Until recently you'd have thought Wiggins would automatically go in at LB as soon as he was fit, but Evina has done ever so well and it won't be easy to drop him. I hope at some point in the match we see them together on the left to see how that option works.

My palace mate thinks zaha should be dropped, since he heard united wanted him he has seemed un interested apparently

I can't stand Philips never have and don't think he's any great shakes now...it's amusing that all the transfer talk coming out of selhurst and they sign him and a Brighton / blackpool reject Dobbie . It's a massive game for them and with boro and watford next for them it's squeaky bum time.
Our performance at the valley in September was dreadful so I expect a performance at the very least
