Its amazing how new-comers to a thread can get things so arse-ways!

It was Andy that said Country's have sh*te Sports not me! Let alone did I say England was sh*t at Cricket! :headbang:

(And I think you'll find Morgan's case was the other way around)

I think that might be the most misogynistic and inappropriate video ever posted on here...... Of course I'll have to watch it again 4 or 5 times just to be sure though. :p

If my maternal grandfather (a Streatham man, Palace old school, NEVER called them 'Eagles' ALWAYS 'Glaziers') had not been cremated, he would be spinning in his grave. This nonsense, and the "Palace Ultras"/"Holmesdale Fanatics for that matter, would have wound him right up and no mistake.

Shall we try using 'gay' meaning lighthearted, 'awesome' meaning genuinely awe inspiring and 'cool' meaning low temperature as well? Now that would be cool.....oh ****.

That's what myself and Belfast are trying to do but it seems to be meeting some resistance. I can understand why though because its now seen as an Americanism - which is unfortunate. I bought that book that's full of old newspaper cuttings from the Club shop last year for my old Dad and I was surprised when flicking through it to see the old headlines and articles refer always to the game as "Soccer". It appeared to peter out sometime in the early 70's for some reason. Maybe its because the Americans started using it around that time?

I'm glad you, as an Englishman, are not hostile to it Queens. Could that perhaps be because you've become accustomed to the term in Australia?

Sorry for being late to this thread....Olympic games opening ceremony rehearsal, see other thread....

As the only girl in this village, can I say Cheerleaders do absolutely nothing for me, what a surprise!!! If you want them it is up to you, I have no feminist feelings about this at all ( a paid job for 12 or so lucky girls!). I feel you lot are a bit daft...looking at plastic unobtainable women (sorry) doing daft dance routines, encouraging us to cheer (we don't need encouragement for God's sake) and prancing around. No it would be the same to me if they were toyboys in Speedos...it is daft beyond belief. I come to watch footy!

All I can say is it gives the girls a good wage, the attention they want and may distract the idiot who sat two rows in front of me away from abusing away fans, away team, Tarbs, and Sparky for the whole of the interval.

    My dear lady,

your job is to simply provide us men with ogling material, not comment upon where or when we should be able to ogle.

We would never allow females to speak out of turn at the mighty Arsenal. In fact, the only females allowed into our ground are those that sell the tea & pies.

Sort yourself out QPR. What with first that awjm person and now allowing the fairer sex to express opinions, you are in danger of becoming a bunch of effeminate metro-sexuals! :emoticon-0104-surpr
