Have you tried the "I know the score" comp on here? Maybe we could do one for Wycombe (and the other promotion contenders) for the remaining games and see where we end up.
sounds a good idea ron but we will prob finish in the play offs if everyone put honest results down instead of results that they want.
According to the poll Rocky, you went for automatic promotion with 3rd place. That was before the Stevenage game presumably.
yes i did ron but after that woeful performance and the lucky win at barnet i admit i am getting a bit worried now ,we have bury ,the shrews ,poxford, and probably the hardest of the lot torquay away and being honest if we play like we did on saturday i cant see us picking up more than 5 points from those games
I voted 5th in the poll and the way it could turn out after saturday unfortunatly I may be correct As for our upcoming matches cant wait to see us play oxford away and am most dreading Hereford away. Im trying to remember the cup game I think they were 2nd from bottom but with a new signing in central defence or midfield I believe, well anyway Wycombe did not get the result wanted as we were not able to put away our chances on the night (sums up the season xP). Also a result against Shrewsbury is a must after their game on saturday!
Updated: Bury 1-2 Torquay - makes the top of the table even closer, though Bury have played the same games as us and are only 1 point ahead. Torquay heading for the playoffs.
a great result for torquay ,i guess there are going to be a few upsets from now untill the end of the season, our away game at plainmoor is looking even harder now .i have seen wycombe play in devon i dont know many times over the years at plymouth torquay and exeter but i have never seen us win down there ,it must be the sea air
Updated: Waddock's views on the run in as said during last night's fans forum: http://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10430~2318722,00.html
nice to hear waddock and the lads are feeling confident although he is bound to say that.we need a result at shrewsbury on saturday thats for sure, anything away from home from now on will be a bonus.
Updated: Having kept our 4 point cushion after yesterday's results and looking at the form of other teams in the league, it may well be that we need as little as 15 points to go up. Historically that would be a very low amount but it has been done before. Despite that I still think that the away games at Oxford, Torquay and Bury will still be crucial.
morning slasher ,i was just looking at everyones fixtures for the rest of the season and a lot of the teams in the top 8 have got to play each other yet so its definately going down to the last games of the season before any of us know who will go up and who will be in the play offs.def going to be squeaky bum time
Morning Rocky, Feeling like a bit of an armchair supporter at the moment as I missed Saturday and I wont be going to Morecambe. The only thing I can forecast with any confidence is that I will be making up for it with plenty of beers over the forthcoming weeks!!!
dont worry mate a home game after that and then i think its poxford away plenty of pints of the rev still to come
You know i'm not a lover of the reverend (unlike 1887 and Pirate Bert). I will never join his clergy as i prefer a pint of the amber nectar!!!! Those that sup at the reverends tap concern me a little
blue soldier youre a fine one to talk if you had a bag at norwich away you wouldnt have got lost in morrisons
