Didn't hear anything specific but there may be something in the detailed documentation.
Not holding my breath though as he only mentioned large film studios
Never know, though, if Fulwell Cain have some linkup with say Universal, or similar, it may happen.
We shall see in the next couple of days

    Edit
Julie Elliott thinks theres something there. It may be on

    Double edit
Too slow, beaten to it lol

Well f do one to all involved, Tony, all those who signed the petition, Sunderland Council, Fulwell73, Cain and the local MP’s. Game changing for the city and the region.

Absolutely fantastic news. I've been following this since the initial announcement from Fulwell73 and it will be a game changer for Sunderland city.

Lets hope the building plans to start this year come off too and a load of jobs to go with it.

I think the detailed planning application goes before the council this month or next. So we might see the start of work on site this year.

Excellent stuff and great that all your efforts have been worth it, TonyG. This was the letter sent by the local MPs in support of the bid :emoticon-0103-cool: (and it’s pretty impressive).

    Just a thought
As the development includes high quality TV studios perhaps we could get the BBC to vacate the Pink Palace and relocate to the Crown Works. Of course it would have to be called BBC North East, couldn't possibly be called BBC Sunderland but just imagine the reaction on Tyneside.
    Lol

That is a separate project, however as the Crown Works is going ahead it can only make it a more feasible project. Let’s hope.
