I couldn't give a **** about England until Capello leaves. The way he ignores the northern teams and has openly highlighted his preference to Southern teams is just disgraceful and borderline corrupt.

Can the rest of the squad do this now, please?

Might get some players passionate to play for England then!

What teams above Manchester have players good enough for England? All well and good saying he hates Northern teams but maybe its because it because they aren't the strongest clubs in the premiership. And how is Capello a **** manager? Look at all the trophies he has won.

He's poor internationally, its a totally different game to club management. Newcastle and even Sunderland have players who should at least be considered for England, we also have 2 of the highest English percentages in our squads in the league. What does Capello learn by going to Chelsea v Man U for example? Shock horror Lampard, Carrick, Cole, Terry, Rooney etc are in the squad again, thank god you watched them to make sure (even though they'd still be in if they had a shocker anyway).

i could win stuff with the teams he had bent only started to play properly for england when he went to villa and sunderland were doing better than villa before that. Also both north eastern teams field the most english players making it at least worth a look.

He said Darren Bent did himself favours by leaving Sunderland and moving to Villa, in terms of getting England chances.

Also after about 2 games for Villa Capello claimed he was now more of a team player than at sunderland

It was what he said about Bent. He openly admitted that Bent had a better chance of being selected for England by moving to Aston Villa.

And considering the pattern of Capello's player selection, it screams bias towards the Southern teams.

We all know that Capello has a habit of selecting random players for England to try them out. However, he's almost completely ignored Northern teams, even to the point of choosing Championship players and 3rd choice EPL players instead of some of the English players up here. There are players in both Sunderland and Newcastle who really deserve a shot, even if it's just on the subs bench, but they don't get a look in.

I genuinely think that the only reason Carroll and Henderson both got a call-up is because there was so much media attention on them both and Capello couldn't ignore it.

Just look at some of the players called up above anyone in the northern teams:

    Glen Johnson
    Scott Carson
    Kyle Walker
    Bobby Zamora
    David Stockdale
    Frank Fielding
    Scott Loach
    Shaun-Wright-Phillips
    Jay Bothroyd
    Kevin Davies

Some of them are average, some of them are poor, and some of them aren't even proven in the highest English league, yet they've all had call-ups, whereas some very keen players in the Northern teams haven't even had a single one.

    It's a shambles, and he's a shambles of a manager.
