It does feel that we're **** at corners, whatever the stats say.

I can't convert corners on FIFA 13 either - I tend to get Suarez to come short and do his goal line trickery and get results. Surely this is enough evidence for LFC to adopt the same tactic?! :)

Seriously tho we seem really toothless at corners - cant remember us looking like we were going to score from one!?

when skertl attakced a few early on this season.

generally we are weak. johnson, gerrard and others should be in there but don't. we miss dirk on the line too.

Dirk was absolutely useless at heading unless he was 1 yard out. But he was always in the right position.

  6. I think Suarez would be the best person to do the 'Kuyt role' next to the opposition keeper.

Johnson should definitely get in the box more, Gerrard's decent and I'd certainly rather see him in the the box than taking a corner because he is shocking at them! However, I'd have Gerrard on the edge of the box lurking for the second balls <ok>

its still a position.. one yard out hassling the keeper. right nwo we are not even trying it's one ball towards agger and he's too honest. just flaps at it and gets man handled.

I'd much rather we didn't cross the ball into the box, we never score from it and just give the ball back to the other team.

Or hope our new centrebacks are absolute monsters and attack the ball in the air.

  9. I've said this before TBH. At the risk of sounding like many others and being rather predictable, Barcelona never cross the ball from a corner etc, they play it short and start again. This is simply because they know their strengths and weaknesses. We have a clear weakness in that we are **** in the air, so why put the ball in the air

Gerrard and Johnson should definitely be in the box. Gerrard because he is a great header of the ball and Johnson for his height (although I do question his aerial ability).

And I agree with Spearing and Gez - our corners are pathetic and our ability to attack the ball is even worse. There is just no point - keep the ball and start the attack again.
