It's all good though, because they have Marucs 'definatley not a shady businessman' Evans to take care of things, not to mention a ground being filled to capacity nearly to the extent it is bursting (Ticket revenues) and in with a great shot of the Premier League and that £40,000,000.
 
do they not realise that you don't get that much for being in the premier league? if, and it seems a pretty big 'if' to me, they have a business plan at that club it clearly is a rubbish one. i suppose we should expect nothing less than rubbish from the 'binmen'...

its easy to take the mick out of their predicament but none of us would want to see them go to the wall (not millwall ;)) - its not good for football <ok>

seriously welly, how on earth have your club managed to get £66m in debt? i find it staggering that your wages are 99%!!! that simply isn't a business model that will ever work! had it not been for selling wickham it'd be even worse - £8m transfers don't come along every year though.

£66m is a worrying amount, even if the debt is owed to your current owner rather than a bank, he'll still want it back with interest i'd have thought! you'd need to spend years and years in the top flight for evans to get anywhere near reclaiming that figure when you consider how much you need to throw at staying there in the first place! even we have spent nearly £10m and we have no rich benefactor - its pretty much all we have to throw at it without jeopardising the future of the club again! evans would have to splash out even more if you consider the age of your team! it'd all need replacing

just puzzled as to how they have got themselves into such a mess both on and off the pitch. i was thinking back to the game at the portaloo when their fans waved money at us and laughed at us as they seemingly headed towards the premier league with bags of money and we headed into the abyss. it was only three years ago!! how times have changed...
