Depends how clever the Polar bear is, if it has 2 brain cells then it will climb on top of the crocodile and punch it to death, if not then it'd take 1 bite and he's a gonner...

Everyone saying crocodiles would win, maybe if you rub all your brain cells together, you might be able to get the real answer!

Steve Irwin used to wrestle crocodiles for a laugh and he wasn't the smartest and he was nowhere near as hench as a polar bear.

A Polar Bear could easily flip a Croc over, attacking its weak underbelly and ripping out its innards before it's even dead.

To be fair, he was killed by a docile fish that's hardly hurt anyone else in recorded history.

Yeah but a polar bear wouldn't have the brains to do it! the crocodile would just bite it's paws as it came towards him!

This beats any Willo/S Taylor debate any day.

Crocs kill by grabbing a limb (leg) and dragging the prey into the water to drown it not by biting its throat out. They even do that to something as lame as a Zebra or an Antelope and don't even succeed everytime. If it tried that **** on a Polar Bear it would be dead in no time. PB would jump on the lizard crushing it with its weight and then rip it to shreds with its claws (which make X-Man Wolverine's claws look like cotton buds).

Hippo's are about 5 times the weight of polar bears

Polar bears spend their days killing blubbery seals, they are not adapt to the power of a croc, which are larger and more powerful, if we are taking the largest of both species.

Don't know about the weight thing but I doubt Hippo's are five times heavier. But i do know that PB's hunt Walrus' and Beluga Whales both of which are considerably larger and heavier than a croc so I disagree about that. PB's are easily strong enough to take on a croc and have it for breakfast.

Your right, I forgot about walruses, which pose more of a threat than seals, but they are slow compared to a crocodile.
If we are taking the largest species of crocodiles, the saltwater crocs, then they can weigh over 1.3 tonnes, a large male hippo can get up to 4.5 tonnes. A large male polar bear weighs in at a measly 680kg.
Crocs are killing machines, larger and quicker than polar bears. I wouldn't wanna meat either, and would probably rather face a croc, as I could out run it, but in a cage, there is only one winner
