I think City were right to back out. As amazing as he is/has been 20m and half a million a week for a 36 year old is crazy money. We don't know how he will cope with the premier league at this point in time. Makes a little more sense for United given the connection. Bit of a PE master-stroke on the Glaziers part but **** me have they paid dearly for it. If he's on top form, by my reckoning the top 4 of the premier league have never been quite so evenly matched after this signing.

Ronaldo plus United is far bigger than Messi plus PSG commercially.
