Well okay, I'll meet you halfway. In the recent past I have found myself suffering the embarrassment of my club being preyed upon by shivs, shysters and fraudsters. And although that has been somewhat embarrassing for the City of Portsmouth, I do look with incredulity at the masters of this sport, and their peers, and find myself being embarrassed to be British - for in their unrestrained and rapacious greed they embrace, despite the evidence put before them, the unscrupulous criminal characters who bring their ill-gotten gains into the country - no questions asked - and even when the authorities of other countries try to bring them to justice our own authorities just look slightly miffed as they watch those riches moving out of their grasp. For me, the days of embarrassment have now passed. The club is owned by the fans. We will never be rich again, but once the inherited debts, (the debts incurred by those shivs, shysters and fraudsters), are paid up we have a clean club. Do I care that we are in league 2? No. Do I care that it may take years to get back to the Prem? No. Do I care that we may never get back to the Prem? No - although never say never again I just see this as the cycle of life - and either suffer or enjoy the fare on offer. BTW - have you finished sulking now?
I'm not in the least embarrassed to support, Pompey. Like 3rd says, it was before, but now we have done the best we can to save the club, it feels good again. Yup we are near the bottom of L2, we don't know if it's ever going to improve, but we are doing it our way now. Full spoon, half spoon, wooden spoon? It's all better than Saccharin.

The only Pony Fiddlers on this site and on the South Coast in general are of course the New Forest bunch of Scummers of which SB3 is most certainly not any where near and certainly not part of. I did hear Scum Possum that Scumhampton has the biggest number of Members()in their numerous Polish and other Pony clubs!..............

The tiresome thing is its the same old same old - his obsession with calling Southampton Scumhampton and endless refences to ponies and everything Southampton Scum is there no constructive thing he can bring forth regarding Portsmouth the team he presumes to support their play - objectives - form - future - anything except the same old thread - "sigh" zzzzzzzzzzz
That is true Anti, but in his defence about using the "scum" word, you will see the word Skate bandied around on the Southampton board by quite a large proportion of users. Everything else though, including the parts about various unusual methods of animal husbandry, I agree with you wholeheartedly.
