Simply though it's a lack of serious policing, stopping stop and search was a huge mistake (one of khans I believe) the reason all these children were getting stopped and searched (I'm talking about the black community mainly here because they was the ones being stopped disproportionately... so the stats said and it was mainly those parents who put the pressure on to discontinue it) the reason they got stopped is the way they dress and carry themselves,.
I learned in my early teens that hoodies and tracksuits attract attention from the police so I started wearing jeans and less hoodies and guess what... I pretty much never got searched randomly again. All my mates have drug convictions and not me, and I do more drugs than any of them especially back then<laugh>

And No you shouldn't be stopped because you like hoodies and tracksuits and man bags... but you should be stopped when youre in full goon gear with mask because it's basically a uniform for unruly dickheads. Fair or not that's the ways..

I suggest (and I dont think anyone can argue this with what were seeing daily in our streets) that those children kept getting stopped because they were in full goon uniform and...... Wait for it..... were carrying blades and drugs and other **** they shouldn't have been carrying .

Ok i'm certain that some coppers pulled black kids cos they were black but the majority imo would have stopped any kid for the reason stated above.
The above lead to gang culture growing massively in London.


How to fix it? police need to get tough, they need the power to stop anyone and search them if they think there is a suspicion of a crime, they also all need teasers and mace and be allowed to use it whenever needed, they all need to be body cammed up at all times so that these new powers and tools aren't abused.

And strung up khan as a starter to get the message across, obviously dress him in goon uniform 1st:bandit:

Yeh basically, none of this my rights **** anymore, you had your chance kids and you blew it.

What's the point in that tho when ultimately there's no where to put anyone away for any serious amount of time (which is badly needed for carrying a weapon imo. Reform the sentences for carrying a weapon 10 years for carrying and life for using it)

Then you need judges who have common sense, which In many recent **** and sexual assault cases, especially public face ****s like Edwards and schofield they seem suspiciously lacking in firm sentences, stop giving them leeway for knife and gun crime in particular, no guidelines.. just that's the time you get... Evertime, ten or life for carrying and or using.

And between althat you need a cps who dont run solely on "can we get a win in court"

Because he’s representing Labour. Only Boris Johnson has been able to make the breakthrough for a non-Labour person. Pretty sure the last turnout was only about 40% and less than half of the votes went to Khan.

I was supposed to reply to the post where you said he’s been voted in 3 times so can’t be that ****.

Yeah, can’t believe Starmer rejected it while leader of the oppo. Just get it started, the last one that began in 2015 cost £200m and was a waste of time. Surely this time lessons learned etc.

Labour have said they are currently working to implement ALL of the Jay report's recommendations as a priority - why this has taken since 2022, **** knows ...

Not good enough. It’s a bullshit report and no answers in there whatsoever about why success governments have been covering it up going right back to the Blair/Brown governments. It doesn’t even fully focus on grooming gangs ffs.

The Rotherham 'grooming gang's' activities have been traced back to the late 1980s when Margaret Thatcher was PM...

Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with you that investigations should go right back - and that individuals involved should be brought to account - both perpetrators and those in Government, social services and police forces who 'failed' the victims - the Jay Report's focus and recommendations are for future safeguarding - and it's scandalous that those recommendations haven't all been implemented before now ...
