During his trial, Dawes claimed he had taken his laptop, iPads and hard drive to work at BBC Wales where colleagues had used his devices.

He claimed storerooms at BBC Wales were "littered with other people's hard drives", and said he had "never knowingly viewed" indecent images of children.

Dawes also said he was the victim of "someone else looking at pornography" on his devices.

But Judge Egan said the defendant had "pushed" his former BBC Wales colleagues "under the bus" and blamed "everyone and anyone" who had access to the open-plan office.

He said Dawes's conviction removed any "lingering suspicion" from his former colleagues.


He obviously went not guilty too

Which makes his sentence even more soft

Seen this. I think leaders of all religions are capable of and involved in this sort of ****.

The one thing that stood out to me in this report, was that despite his convictions, his family and members of the community still thought it appropriate to send the judge letters of support and character references for this animal.

The 12 all definitely unbiased jurors in the latest Manchester airport case can’t reach a verdict so the judge has said he’ll take a verdict ten of them agree on. Always a chance of some do-gooder noddy being on a jury if you do ever find yourself in the dock.

Modena, Italy: A speeding car mowed down pedestrians on Via Emilia in Largo Porta Bologna, injuring at least seven, three seriously, before crashing into a shop; the Moroccan‑origin driver fled, stabbing a passerby who stopped him, and is now in police custody.

Videos of it all on Twitter, you had no chance if he hit.

I read in the Independent one woman had to have her legs amputated, the attacker was under psychiatric care.

She was one of the videos I saw on Twitter, car drove her into the wall, didn't stand a chance - surprised she is even alive after what I saw.

The Italian Prime Minister has cancelled a trip to Cyprus so she can go to the scene where the guy mowed people down with his car in Modena.
