Yeah saw that, good. I also heard on the news today a newborn baby was killed in Doncaster, I think they arrested a 17 year old and a 45 year old, both women again. The emphasis was around 'new born' - They've asked people to not speculate, so I won't.
Four young children have died in a house fire in Sutton. The mum has been arrested on child neglect, I think it was because the children were home alone. Someone interviewed did say she was a good mum. Not sure the circumstances behind the children being left alone, can only wait and see in what is a tragic loss of life. Always makes me think of the Madeline Maccane case, when I hear of children being left on their own. Remembering two professional adults in that case, had no criminal action taken against them.
Absolutely tragic and avoidable. The mum will be devastated eith her mistake im sure, but she deserves to be punished, you dont leave fuking 5 year kids olds alone ffs, ive not even got kids and i know that. Bloody awful
Yeh saw it on the news. Im sure she will be, but you just cant lewve kids alone these days it aint the 80s no more, and 5 year olds no thats just fukin wrong. So as much i a can appreciate her pain and regret right now, she must be made an example of. And i hear your point about the mcans, why no prosecution for them but that's another debate entirely. I think we both know why without saying it anyway mate
And just to add, well kept clean looking kids doesnt always mean they are well cared for. Ive known birds who keep thier kids pristine but are completely unfit mothers . Loads of em actually
A neighbour said they were cared for, the picture merely supported that, I've no reason to doubt that.
Not sure what the purpose in prosecuting her tbh. Nothing the courts can do to make her feel worse. She has to live with the loss of her children and knowing she weren't there when they needed her. Ain't defending her leaving them alone (if that is what happened) but imho loving parents don't really recover from the loss. You ain't supposed to outlive your kids really. As a side issue...**** being a fire fighter and dealing with that
I'd hate to have to deal with a case like this, as a fireman, copper or even social worker, right through to being a juror when it goes to court. Sucky is right in what he says, because quite simply it is neglect, regardless of how they are looked after generally.
