I see that guy who poisoned the kids, seems he may have given them sedatives, sweets laced with something. I wondered if he had, sure there's been a case like this before. Soon as they said it was a number of children, all went to hospital but ok now....young lively kids, summer camp, I'm like thinking he's sedated them. You have to question why someone so old would be looking after so many kids that young... https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...d-cruelty-offences-man-charged-leicestershire
I was wondering why he wasn’t on attempted murder charges. Surely this will open up a review of policies about safeguarding children. As you say, why is a guy who’s closer to 80 than 70 looking after multiple kids.
Yup, it makes no sense to me why someone didn't question it, him looking after multiple kids at that age - obviously I don't know if he had any assistants. You are right defo a safeguarding issue for me...I'm tempted to say a bit irresponsible of the parents, but that sort of thing gets you shot down these days, so i'll not say it. I've defo heard of something like this before though. Something in the back of my head is telling me I wouldn't be surprised if this used to be common practise decades ago, when there was no accountability in these sort of places.
