I have a question for you all After watching this So.. As we're are a country that has equal rights for women should we ban Islam? Or have I misinterpreted her words here @Spurlock? Kbye
OK... just looked this up as thought this happened before... so finally arrested. One charge of "Oral Rape" that's something I haven't heard as a charge before. Fitting. His style of comedy can only be described as aural-rape.
I find the guy telling the story boring, so it's difficult to guage, because I really don't want to listen to the whole 40 mins of him banging on, so I skipped through and tried to take the main points from it. He use to be a school/parent guvnor (whatever) and from what I can guage, the original headmaster/mistress left, and the deputy was installed as the new head. I then gather the guy telling the story didn't feel that due process had been followed in that appointment. I'm gathering over time, maybe even years, it festered, eventually the parents receive a letter at some point in the past, telling them they are banned from the school, due to malicious gossip (my words) on social media. Now the immediate problem with this is it makes life slightly difficult for their daughter who still goes to that school, and herself has some disabilities so it makes life more challenging for her. So at this point, my first thought is for the child stuck in the middle of this and I think both the school and parents need their heads banging together, really mate, they've all forgotten the important part of all this and need to ****ing grow up, and both sides should have been seeking a truce for the sake of the kid. Sounded to me, neither side were going to let this go though, he seems full of himself with the story and the school aint much better, simply in my mind they all forgot what was most important here, and that's sad. Anyway over time it escalates, more tittle-tattle on social media, someone within that group I will assume was a grass or at the very least feeding the situation, to the stage that the coppers turn up on the door. It wouldn't surprise me if someone at the school, got on well with a high ranking officer, and use that as pressure to shut the parents up, pure specualation by me. The liberty, subsequent arrest, fingerprints (dna?), photographs at the station all deeply concern me, I'd like to think this is just a one off out of thousands of police visits that take place every year around the UK, and of all people it happened to him. I'd have a guess, that at least five of those six coppers didn't even know why they were there, and whether there was ever a risk to the school that we've not been told about, no way of telling, he says there wasn't, apparently the media posts were merely of a mocking nature if anything. I'm thinking a joke between friends. I guess he's a bit of a busy body, didn't like the way the school transgressed with the appointment of the deputy, and it all just got a bit silly. Then up rocks a so called friend within the Whatsapp group that has made things worse by passing on content. Conclusion: They all need to grow up, and yes a worrying undertone, that would be nice for someone to clear up, of exactly why did six cops go knocking.
Why didn't the guy just take the school to an employment tribunal? ... would have had them over a barrel if usual 'due process' for fulfilling the role, including interviewing the incumbent deputy, hadn't been followed...
There's always two sides to every story and I'd love to hear the school/cops side of this. Based on what the guy said (and like you, I skipped probably over half of it) it sounds like absolute ludicrous arrest... but there has to be more to it. Some people in the police are certainly corrupt or power hungry, but it seems a bit of a stretch that that's what it was. Either the school told a lie (or at least stretch of truth) to police, or there is something we're not being told about this. (either way, I think it's ridiculous you can be arrested for saying hurtful things online)
Elf and Safety mate innit, the girls father might have been spreading butter on his breakfast toast and we know how dangerous a butter knife can be, OR the father might have appeared to resist arrest and got beaten to a pulp so they have 5 witnesses to say the wounds were self inflicted Sadly it seems the modern police can only take on unarmed middle aged men or girls, no way they would take on a gang of men armed with knives, someone might get hurt
To be honest mate, my family use to get loads of grief off the old bill, but whatever the reason for the hassle, mostly deserved, some not, you just let them get on with it. I can remember about six coppers trying to break my bro's front door down one day, for some outrageous reason, years ago - he was purposely pissing them off by not opening the door, cause he didn't give a **** But the moral to the story is we never ever went running to the media, or crying them bad coppers blah blah blah, the country is just full of bunch of pussies these days. It was always a simple rule, don't cause **** and you don't get ****. If coppers pulled me over and wanted to go through the car, I'm like help yourself, what's the point in creating hassle, they do what they have to do then leave you alone, I could tell you other stories like that, exactly the same, when you get good cop bad cop, rocking up to the door, trying to be a bunch of ****ing comedians. Hence why when I had kids I made sure they never ever brought the old bill home to the door, and you know what, life was easier for it.
When I was a youngster the police always went around in pairs on my estate, I wonder why When I met up-with one on my old school mates a few years ago we were talking about the number of times we had our names taken, in those days the books were just scrapped when full up, these day they are kept on a computer One night we had been fishing in Rickmansworth and the shortest route home was through Moor Park, as it was dark and not all the lights on our bikes were working so we were walking, the distance was about two miles at most and we were stopped 10 times by mounted patrols and each time we had our names and addresses taken, that was a record for even us
See this is why I don't get all the fuss around stop and search for knives, just get on with it, it never bothered you when we were kids and getting stopped. People will get use to it and adapt their behaviour, even the most prolific petty criminal gets tired of being chased eventually. But you are right, the digital age has added a whole new dimension to it. I'm not sure Sucky's cure of 20 years inside is the answer lol....but hassling the knives off the street would be a good start.
I've been pulled over a few times and searched. I have no problem with that if the old bill are going about their business trying to prevent crime. It's when you start acting like a dick that you're inviting problems. Got pulled on the M5 once and the coppers immediately took my keys and asked me to sit in the back of their car, I was like wft is going on here. It turned out that they'd misread my number plate, D for an O. and the plate with the O on it was a stolen car. I could have kicked off about it and started complaining about being harassed etc, but what's the point ? You're just going to piss them off. Most of my interactions with the old bill are just funny though. I've got a couple of stories that are a bit long winded to type on here, but one involved me getting arrested at Stone Henge after trying to give some riot police ecstacy pills lol and the other involved me getting my armpit sniffed in the middle of Tesco car park when a copper was searching for weed
Haha that Stonehenge story reminds me of when my mate got kicked out of a rave for trying to sell pills to a bouncer. I generally treat old bill as they treat me. If they're respectful then I'll be respectful in return. If they act like an arrogant bullying **** then so will I.
When I got arrested at Stone Henge, I was out of my tree on acid and pills and I had a vision lol. I was up against a line of riot police and I saw this commander on horse back directing them, it was like I'd been transported back into medieval times, I just saw this whole lineage of their families and us the hippies, and it was like an age old playbook of the Peasants v People in charge. In that moment, I thought this is my chance to change history, so I was chatting to the riot police and trying to tell them that we were all brothers and that we should rise up against the oppressors lol. They weren't really listening, so I thought I had to adopt plan B and give them some drugs so that they could get on my level and understand what I was talking about
