As a rule I tend to look at what the score is at 30 overs and double it. I saw the Afghan score and thought it's doable, but it's whether they can hold on to the wickets.
I missed the Windies innings but heard they needed 7 off the last over and the fella tried to hit it for a 6 on the first ball and was caught out. Seems like they snatched defeat from the hands of victory.
Not quite. They were dead and buried and he dragged them back into it with an outrageous century. The guy down the other end was the number 11 and a bit of a rabbit so going for a 6 to win it made sense. He missed out by about a foot.
So do we accept the current Top 4 will be the ones going through. After 6 games played it will be... New Zealand - 11 Aussies - 10 India - 9 England - 8 Bangladesh - 5 Pakistan - 5 I'm assuming there's another 3 to play for each team? Which means a maximum of 11 for Bangladesh or Pakistan if they win all 3. And will therefore also require either England to lose 2 out of their 3, India to lose all 3, or Aussies to lose all 3.
Hmmmm... I can see England beating NZ. I can't see Pakistan doing it though. Bangla won't beat India or Pakistan imo.
