Still got my 1992 Pakistan WC winning top...back then they were only exclusive to purchase via Sky...25 quid a pop. God knows why you’re still following the football...Arsenal did zilch for you to reflect on
Just drove past Taunton and the motorway matrix was warning of events, did wonder which fixtures they had there. That should be hell of a game, loads of lost balls out of the ground! I assume it to be sold out?
It sure is - and going to Southampton on Monday to see West indies v South Africa. Definitely got the plum tickets from all the ones my mate offered some of us!
It's okay bro, I pretended to develop an interest in Darts after we lost the Europey league final. Might even post a Darts thread later
Sri Lanka all out for 201 Afghans chasing it down and are currently 57-5 after 14 overs They wont make it
Afghanistan 152 all out Sri Lanka get the win as expected Tomorrow we get: South Africa v India Bangladesh v NZ
I really hope so as that could be a great game to go and see. But in all honesty I think Pakistan will collapse and it'll be a comfortable win for the Aussies.
Yeh that's probably true lol. This is what's quite sad to see with Pakistan, at least the last time iirc the WC was here, they only threw a game against the worst team in the tournament once they'd qualified for the semi!
I stopped following them once the corruption took over. They obviously had no pride so what am I supporting Hoping one of Pakistan or England win it
I don't know much about the current squad but in the past Pakistan have had the quality but not always the discipline, which for fans meant always believing anything was possible and at their best being a delight to watch (especially if you're a lover of the art of bowling) but quite often ending with self-inflicted failure and disappointment and frustration for those fans. If only people had listened to Gandhi and avoided partition, a collective 'India' would've won fcking loads!
Won a few quid on India today, made up+ for losses on SL against NZ. Tomorrow’s game could be a cracker.
They should be able to reach 289. Wasn't Trent Bridge where Eng/Pak played a couple of days ago with 300+ scores?
