Bairstow, Malan, Root, Stokes, Brook, Buttler, Livingstone, Rashid, Willey, Wood, Atkinson

Still gives us 6 bowling options assuming Stokes can't bowl. The issue comes when you need to get 10 overs from Root and Livingstone and that is only on the assumption that the other bowlers don't go round the park

Imagine Buttler will want to keep one of Woakes/Curran in the team

Also, I'm being harsh on Topley, so maybe keep him and rest Wood?

I know they put stats up in an earlier game for the deviation of the ball for spinners at the grounds but I cant find it anywhere, if its spin friendly Root and Livingstone would be good, and I would also rest Wood as he also hasnt done a lot, fast but gone for a few (havn't they all)

Thay others are bowling better, consistent length. Just back of good.

The England players have even openly talked about the "Matt Henry" length, then still pitch it up, get driven, then pull too far back and get whacked.

Woakes , always excellent at home, has bever been the best abroard and it is tin eared to just think he'll suddenly become different. Curran needs swing, or he's too often just a hit me bowler.

Wood I'd keep. Middle overs though, where his pace makes a difference, and there is cover. Atkinson is due a game too.

But it's hard to make a likely winning team from that squad. Root is back in his crease again, as he seems to do in 50 over competitions, so he has to find his test match freedom.

And we really need Ben in there. The batsman and the man.

Totally mate, think England aren't good enough and always happy to see NZ do well. Funny game though, we'll see.

Topley off getting treatment and it’s tough going for us at the moment. Big test for the bowlers and Buttler to slow this SA scoring.

Sod's law that the game you only play 5 bowlers is the game one of your 5 gets an injury. Root getting the treatment now, how long before Stokes demands the ball?
