Quiz question for the future. Who hit his the last ball
He faced for 6 and took a wicket with the last ball he bowled in test cricket?

not sure anyone else will have done that!!

Only a scriptwriter!

Boy will we, and cricket miss that bloke. A brilliant spell from Broad. Brilliant spell from Woakes. And Moeen can come and kick me up the arse, as I wrote him off, and a brilliant spell from him too.

Takes some beating test cricket mind, it really does.

T20 cricket is probably more exciting but for sheer heart in mouth moments you can't beat Test cricket for me

Honestly I think Test cricket is more exciting. But that's just my opinion mate.

I'm a test match purist, I would rather watch that. Maybe exciting may have been the wrong word to use, there's more happening with each ball in T20. Personally, I think T20 played a part in players batting attitudes in test cricket and the tests were sliding down a slippery slope until McCulloch and Stokes decided to change people's views

Totally agree. England play white ball cricket with the red ball mate.

It has been terrible occasionally mind, though rarely here in modern times.

I've always preferred it, even when it was a bit slow. It still can be on the sub continent with dust bowl pitches and boiling conditions, which makes England's effort in Pakistan earlier this year all the more remarkable.

But where Ben and Brendan are leading, the others will follow and more teams will follow their uber attacking approach.

It just needs the administrators to take it seriously and give the poorer countries encouragement to do the same.

Awesome, there I was in between showers walking along the beach with g'kids, thinking about the cricket using my phone for sky mobile, Broad having hit a six off the last ball he faced, I wondered if he would take the 10th wicket with his last ball... course he did.

So rain helped the Aussies in one test, an unfair dismissal in another, plus some crap catching and batting by us.

A series we should have won, one that got away.
