Fair call guys end of the day a game of cricket ain't worth anyone's health.
The only shade was under the vertue stand for us and it wasn't much cooler tbh. Queue for the water was longer than the one for the bar. **** knows how they are playing in it. Seen a fair few medical incidents on the way back to the car park hope everyone is ok.

Starting to see the drinkers in CLS now. Staggering due to dehydration more than beer.

Been in for an hour , with a fan on and ice everywhere!

How they are playing God only knows. Really strange innings from Roy mind. Confidence and rhythm completely gone. He looks like he is just starting out and playing for his place in the side, probably a reflection of his form recently.

Doable from here, but a long way from easy. Someone is going to have to move the fielders around with some shots, or it will get to ten an over pretty quickly.

That was horrendous yesterday, never known heat like it. Sat in the trapdoor stand all day with the sun bleaching down. Managed 4 pints before the start of play then was on gallons and gallons of water. I honestly could have gone home at the innings break - was sat below the stands wondering what the **** was going on.

Same. We sheltered under there at the innings break. I could have happily gone home there and then. Had it not been Stokes' last innings (for what it was worth in the end) I probably would have gone home.

Absolute madness yesterday, I haven't heard anyone saying they enjoyed the day, I bet plenty are regretting it this morning.

I only had one pint yesterday then on the water, but I worked out that I had 5 750ml bottles of water and drank them all. But I hardly went for a piss. Must have been dehydrated to hell!!

Stayed to the end and drank plenty water in between a few pints but still felt weird on way home. Bizzarely woke up early fresh as a daisy and avoided any sunburn thankfully. More beer and less water and could have been in a bad way I reckon, that was not an experience to repeat again soon haha!
Edit-Staff did a great job best they could, kept going with the water dishing out when it must have been uncomfortable for them and folk moaning at them too. Fair play
