whatever the reason/thoughts, that was an excellent knock from the lad and i dare say that is exactly what bairstow was saying to him.
Sad reality if that is that he’d have been less disappointed to be out fir 5 yesterday than to be out for 97 today!

Been a great advert for Test Cricket this, only shame being its not a five game series, as the teams are so well matched, and obviously enjoy playing against each other.
