Really something. And what a time to be a talented young cricketer. Not long ago he would have been left to get to the young age of 26 and then been given a go when his zip had gone.

We just have to remember that he's 18! The greatest ever didn't hit his straps until he was 23!
Got to say, I had a lump in my throat when they showed that clip of the 13yo Rehan being coached by Warnie and him then saying "I'll be commentating on you before long...."

This England side are something special to watch, cant remember anything like it, the transformation has been miraculous. No disrespect to Shane, but on a lighter note which he always brought and would have appreciated, Nassers master class intro by Athers, and later the *hammer throwing* comments by Lord Gower, were as witty and relevant as any of the TMS banter that I can remember.

A 3 nil series win in Pakistan is not something to be sniffed at, the manor in which we played was a breath of fresh air. Playing to the teams strengths rather than what's considered 'normal'

Roll on the summer tests
They were saying on BBC England have won nine out of 10 Tests since Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes took charge

Outstanding stat. Will be put fully to the test in the next few months - NZ away and then The Ashes. Come through that unscathed and we really have seen a revolution. FWIW I'm really optimistic abouy The Ashes - even with a **** team in 2019 we didn't lose the series. Be interesting to see whether Smith and Labuschagne can play Robinson/Anderson/Broad on a green top under grey skies

It’s not England… but, what we saying?

I thought the rule was if you step over the boundary before first contact with the ball the it’s a 6. As he caught the ball inside the rope, released it before touching the ground over the rope, then left the ground, re-releasing the ball before touching down, then caught it inside the rope, it should ge out.

UNLESS the rule is from when you catch a ball full stop (not whether you catch from first hit, I,e. He was outside the boundary when he left the ground the second time, therefore deeming it a 6)

So, in a few less words, ****ed if I know fir certain

It’s a very grey area though as my second point could easily me taken into consideration. If, after he releases the ball and Linda over the boundary, it’s deemed as a restart in the process, it’s technically not out. But I’m not sure where that would be in the rules! It should be out for me
