After the run out, had to watch the rest of the day with the mute button on just to shut Nasser up. The glee in his voice when things go against us says it all. Lets hope Root and Bairstow can shut him and his mate Kholi up tomorrow by leading England to a famous victory. OaU.

I like Nass, but am finding the Sky commentary a bit annoying. There have been such huge changes in the last 2-3 years losing Willis, Warne, Holding & Bumble, together with the senseless firing of Gower and Botham so a transition period was always on the cards, but I cannot get away with Pietersen, Butcher, Knight and co.

Same could be said for TMS with the thoroughly dull Mark Ramprakash

hear what you’re saying.
It’s a different game now thanks to the input of T20
Some of the older ones never played or will understand it.
so maybe sky want presenters who can adapt to it and also want continuity to fo both Tests and T20.

I’m struggling to think which 4 commentators could do the job effectively and with entertainment.

I think Stuart Broad will be a shoe-in when he ends his test career. I enjoy listening to Mo Ali, Ali Cook and Eoin Morgan,
JOnathan Agnew is still he Daddy of radio commentary and I like Atherton's style on Sky. Isa Guha is good too. I find Alex Hartley's voice annoying, but she speaks well about the technical side of the game.

That will be an insane chase if they manage it. India have a seriously good attack, and scoring the thick end of 400 is just re-writing the text book. Amazing stuff.

I think I'd rather parachute into a sea of boiling acid than run in and bowl at Johnny right now, never mind Root and Stokes.

Stokes and McCullum turning England into a red ball one day team. Set us a target and we'll chase it down. Amazing

I have just listened to the TMS podcast and Ramps was on. Very dull I am afraid. There was just no chemistry with Aggers. He and Vaughan were good together, but there is a very obvious cloud over Vaughan. I like Tuffnell for the humour. Cook is good. Isa Guha is a brilliant sports broadcaster I think and will go on to bigger things.

It is. Players and supporters responding, so we have to give them the benefit when it goes wrong.
I remember listening to TMS at Headingley when Stokes got out coming down the wicket and we were 55-5. Michael Vaughan commented something like "that's not Test Cricket.....it's rubbish"

Stokes and McCulluem reinventing the game

I watched every single ball today (off work lol) and it's been literally fantastic to see the difference in the team. We are literally starting a trend here...no test team has ever played with this attacking mindset from my memory and I've been watching test cricket for over 40 years.
