Bet Twitter was full of England fans… half way… “we’re ****. Whitewash etc”

And now it’s “England are awesome “

What a day of test cricket. Hope nobody has gone to Australia and bought a ticket for day 4 or 5 of this one!!

Two takes from that and from what I saw. One TNT commentary was awful and two, nineteen wickets in one day is not good for test cricket.

Just got back home.
What a game that was!
I thought that 172 all out was going to be an easy one for the Aussies to catch. Thankfully my knowledge of cricket tactics is on par with football tactics.
Mitch Starc was the standout player for the Australians. Archer was just next level for England. He kept their batters quiet then Carse and Stokes moved in afterwards.
We weren’t sitting with the Barmy Army,. There was a mix of English and Australians. The guy next to Mrs K was a retired gynaecologist and he kept us entertained all game.
We got plenty of “ha’way the lads” going there, in the stadium and coming back with everyone really complimentary about SAFC in general and what a breath of fresh air they have been this season.
Great day out and a pity we’re not going back tomorrow.

My best mate lives in the Perth suburbs and is always on to me to come over especially for the Ashes, looks a brilliant stadium, approximately how much is a match day ticket cost?

It really is a fantastic stadium vic. Where me and Mrs K were standing on the image I posted earlier was where our seats were. The credit card app tells me that we paid $237.20 for two tickets, so half that if you want to convert it to GBP. That also gives us free rail travel to and from the stadium, which is standard for any event on there.
You should take your mate up on the offer and come over.
