What chase will be too much for England? Currently stands at 476 and rising..... Declare at tea or bat for another hour to lay down the challenge of 550 and have hour and a half bowling....

Strange tactics from India. They're 478 ahead, but Gill and Jadeja are playing as if they just want to take time out of the game, rather than looking to score quick runs.

Jadeja 22 off 55 balls.

If they hadn't gone on a go slow after Pant got out, they could have declared already.

England should be a little worried about the overnight position..

They're slightly behind the required run rate.

Looks like rain might save India.
Yesterday’s forecast for round here was cloudy but no rain. It’s pissing down and no sign of letting up.Though it’s supposed to stop by 1:00z

All part of the rich pageant of Test cricket!

They seem to think it's going to clear up in an hour or two. India will have themselves to blame if they don't get a result, though. They delayed the declaration for way too long yesterday.

If we get a draw a lot of credit has to go Bazball. Without the perception of fear our batsman create India would have declared hours before and it would already be over.
