India 138 - 2 at Edgbaston, seems like another fun match for the batsmen, especially as Bumrah isn’t playing.

Also just read that in County cricket they are using the Kookaburra rather than the Dukes ball this season, supposedly to give English bowlers a chance to practice with it before the Ashes. But….most of the bowlers likely to make the squad are playing test cricket with a Dukes ball. So far the games involving the kookaburra have resulted in lots of draws and high scores.

England's quicks in this Test are unlikely to go to Oz. Woakes and Tongue definitely not - Carse possibly.

I'd say India are fairly content at 182/3 at tea after being put in.....

They probably need a shed load of runs as it doesn't look the strongest bowling line up for them and they could struggle to take 20 wickets.....

Did say our bowling attack is poor & far too many runs scored! And now very poor start & without their star bowler

That’s it Bazball is a disaster.

Draper ****ing it up at Wimbledon too.

No hope for the England ladies in Switzerland.

Two in two for Siraj and England are 88-5. Root strangled down leg side and Stokes gets a brute first ball.

Oh dear.

Jamie Smith leading a Bazball recovery - 49 off 38 balls, with 23 runs coming off the last over.

Brilliant morning's cricket. England on the floor at 84-5, followed by an unbroken partnership of 165 off 25 overs between Smith and Brook.

A hundred off 80 balls by Smith. Fantastic.
