We're just hanging on the the last remants of summer as it's a long winter ahead.....mind it was winter conditions at Lords last night, around 10 degrees.....

Just turned the cricket on and took a wicket immediately. Bright start by England, though - 70 for 2 off 9 overs.

Awful day here, high winds and horizontal rain...... cricket going along nicely with Duckett and Brook looking well set....162/2
 
Brook gone to a ropes a dope tricky from Zampa..... hits him for consecative 6"s them tries it again but miscues to Maxwell.... 202/3
 
Bit of turn for the spinners.... Both Smith and Livingstone gone cheaply...

England stalling a bit....
